People, Profit and Planet — as a culture, our team unites the principles and values of sustainable business practices. We view these initiatives as the creation of a 21st Century Model of Sustainability for Small Business that incorporates People (or Social Responsibility), Profit (or Financial Stability) and Planet (or Environmental Stewardship). We integrate these principles into our everyday business practices.

As an example of People or Social Responsibility — we partner with many non-profit organizations throughout the community providing repair and maintenance services along with financial and organizational support. One instance of this is our participation with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. We help maintain their fleet of vehicles and have negotiated a special pricing arrangement with Havana NAPA who provides parts to Habitat at cost.

As an example of Profit or Financial Stability — we are continually researching ways to cut our operating costs while delivering the highest level of service. One example of this is replacing older T12 lighting fixtures and bulbs with energy efficient fixtures and T8 bulbs which provide significant savings in energy costs and greenhouse gases.

As an example of Planet or Environmental Stewardship — we live and work responsibly and are committed to recycling everything we can in our office and in the shop – including used motor oil which is used to heat our facility in our waste oil furnace. We employ a written environmental policy and an Environmental Management System plan.
